For better or worse #wheels

Good news my wheels are at home and tires and sensors are on order due in this week.

I have a very small amount of camber on the car from the swift springs. Was thinking about saying f#%^ the camber kit which is 509.00 shipped plus 200 installed and putting on my wheels F1 RE30 rays.

Will the wheels make the camber worse and I should just spend the money? The Firestone guy that did my alignment said if it was him he would leave it be.

But my shop told me to get it done IE they would be the ones doing #comeupforthem

Do you have your alignment specs? If it's -2.0 or less I wouldn't worry as long as toe is in spec.
Look forward to seeing pics of your new setup

Yes if you can provide more details about your cars current camber and toe that would be helpful.

Today you might be saving alot of money by not getting the camber kit but in the long run you'll be eating up tires. I learned that lesson the hard way with my previous car.

This is pretty sound advice.
Mine is on Eibach's pro kit, a little lower than Swifts, and with these alignment specs I haven't had any noticeably bad tire wear. I know someone else with the same setup and he's been on the same summers for a few seasons, also with decent, even tire wear.

I have the RE30s as well and have never used a front camber kit or rear toe bolts. I was on Eibachs and now on KWv3s. As mentioned before, correcting the TOE is vital.

Looks like you'll be just fine from your spec sheet, just might want to rotate your tires a bit more often, but really shouldn't notice much wear.

well looks like i can get the full SPC front and rear camber & toe bolt kit for around 400.00 shipped. so i am kinda ok with it now. but the biggest issue i don't want to have it not getting it and my wheels look camber from looking at it i want them flushed if that make sense?

Nothing wrong w/ wanting everything in spec, and if you ever go lower you'll have what you need.

The swifts are actually a little lower than eibachs but honestly with a good alignment you should be fine. Your not adding too much camber and if anything what you do add will help your handling out too. The increased wear is very minimal.

I was pretty sure the Eibach PK springs for the 08X are a little lower than the Swifts.
G35X Swift Sport Drop: Front 1.3", Rear 1.0". (Part# 4N907)
G35X Eibach PK Drop: Front: 1.4", Rear: 1.1" (Part#6399.140)

If the OP used the non-X Swift springs (Part#4N904) with a much lower spring rate then perhaps it would sit the same or lower than the Eibach PK.

[My G37S Eibach PK Drop:Front: 1.5", Rear: 1.2"(Part# 6390.140)]
