Springs!
Springs!
Hey guys i have a problem and maybe you can help me with that! I try to search but don't find anything! I buy 20x9,5 et 25 and 20x10,5 et 25 i'm using stock springs and stock shocks , i know that a lot of you really like the coilover setup but i really don't want to put them and loose confort because i use the car everyday and really like the way it's now! So i think to put some new springs , my problem is with my setup what brand springs do you think are the best for me? Without having rubbing problems and any other issues?
Let me know and thanks for reading me!

Eibachs are the most recommended for what you're looking for. Keep in mind that swapping the springs will also change the current ride..usually for the better. You'd be surprised how much buying coils makes a different to your ride not to mention giving you the height adjustability to adjust exactly how you want. With springs, what you see is what you get. But again, eibach springs will give you exactly what you're looking for if you're really not looking for coils

Swift springs are great to, I will be selling mine in 3 weeks or so, to answer your question each brand of springs have different heights when installed eibach and swift have a very mild drop, tein springs give the car a lower drop and I believe anything more than a 1.5 inch drop will require camber kits($500). But seems to me what your looking for are eibachs or swift. Do some research on those you'll be very happy, I hope my input helps
A coilover setup will be much more comfortable than just springs. Ask me how I know. You will find the shortcomings of just having springs, and you'll end up going with a coilover setup anyway. Tanabes are very comfortable and much better than stock, in handling, looks and comfort. You can usually find a nice used set for 600 in the classifieds.
Also do a search. Regardless of what searching you might have done, this has been covered at least 3 million times. Not including this one.

I have eibach's as well, alignment is within factory spec on all except for one corner and that front corner is out of spec on camber by 1/10th of a degree. Toe is perfect all around. Drop is 1 finger all around with the factory 19's (coupe, 2010 by the way) I think the drop is perfect and the ride is still very comfortable. Also running spacers, 15mm in the back and 20mm in the front with no rubbing anywhere. I've had springs on three different cars and springs and coilovers on an acura rsx and at the softest dampening setting the coils where still very abrubt. Much rougher than springs with stock struts. Adjustability is nice with coils but for a g coupe the ride and handling is great with the eibachs and it will save you $700 too! Side note, I have no experience with coils on a g so it's possible there are brands that offer a more supple ride than I experienced on a smaller, sportier car.
