Spring and shock combo

As we all know tax season is here.. Once I get my refund I want to lower my car, but I'm trying to avoid getting the camber kit.

Since I have an X coupe I'm thinking Swift springs, with bilstien HD shocks tuned for a G37S.

Thoughts?

Sounds like a good combo to me. And thanks for correctly calling it a tax refund and not a tax return like so many incorrectly do. Pet peeve of mine.

So after doing some research, I think G37S springs on my X would be a better match for me. Only problem is the rear sags a bit.. But an isolator should raise it up.

Anyone currently running this set up?

I would imagine I wouldn't need a camber kit cause I would be at the same height as a sport.

If you haven't already seen this
https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...e-x-coupe.html

I have the X also, an I was going to do the same but I decided to just go with Eibach pk.
Soon going to get some BC Racing coilovers.

I got them last July and still haven't gotten an alignment.
the guy who installed the eibachs told me I didn't need an alignment.
I won't be driving it much since it will be in my garage at home while I'm in school so I won't really have to worry about significant uneven tire wear.
They were good at first but I feel like the ride got harsher later on

That guy lied to you. Anytime you mess around with your suspension to the degree of lowering a car, you need to get an alignment.

I was going to get an alignment but I decided to get some coilovers as soon as I get back from school and then get an alignment.

I just did a quick detail and edited the picture with SnapSeed, iphone app

The car looks good mines blk too, I like the blk rims.. Are they powder coated or are they blk cause the photo is desaturated? Do you have a non edited picture of the car?

And what kind of drop did you get from the eibachs?

The Swift springs you originally were considering are an infinitely better option than OEM G37S springs. At least performance and comfort wise.

I can't afford to have them powdercoated lol so I painted them satin black until I can save up for SC5's

Sorry I don't have any pictures up close to the wheel gaps and the bottom of the car to see how low it is. Still in school and car is at home

If I can remember, I think it went from 3-4 fingers to 1 finger that was able to fit in the wheel gap, we have different size fingers so I'm not sure if that'll help

I scrape the bottom when I get off the driveway, I need to snail my way through to not scrape

Very nice. I like the painted spoiler, I was thinking about doing that instead of spending 500 on the oem one.. Now I'm not sure if I should paint the grill, because I'm not going to paint the headlights
