Help Adjusting rear coilover perches

Adjusting rear coilover perches
Guys, how safe is adjusting the rear perches to be somewhat like this?
I need to raise the car by about 0.375 - 0.5 more, currently this is the only way to do it.
(not my pic, just a sample to illustrate perch extending beyond threads)

Search on line for the max height. Or call the company. Ask someone on here who has the same brand/type.
Bunch of options
Hell, the picture may be ok to do. Just gotta find out for sure.
Just doesn't make sense to have it any further than flush with the top of the perch.

Mike, here's a thread that may be of help. My Megans are almost maxed out for rear height and I'm at 26.25" (the fronts are the same height, but they can go as high as a 4x4, lol). I still have about 1/2" of thread above the collars so seems to be fine compared to the pic you showed. Luckily the 26.25" all around is EXACTLY where I want it to be, but no way to get it closer to stock height if the need ever arises. Anyway, here you go & Cheers to a great 2013

I'm hoping someone who has BCs with the optional (on recently sold kits) height extenders, that didn't use them, would sell me theirs. Here's my WTB post if you know of anyone.
