Hello,

If I need to remove the rear right hub on my 2012 g37s sedan. Would i have to remove the rear right lower control arm and the two to supports that hold the spindle in place or is there an easier way?? where i can some how get back there and put a socket on the back of the hub and crack it loose?


Doesn't seem like there is much room there to get a good grip by a socket on the 4 bolts holding the hub on the spindle. Any advice would be appreciated. .

Removing the rear hub isn't that hard. You'll need to jack up and support the car with jackstands. Pull the rear wheel and start by removing the rear brake pads and caliper (held by two 22 mm bolts). Support it with a coat hanger, so it's not hanging by the brake line. Pull off the brake rotor and there should be plenty of room to swing a wrench or socket on the four 17mm bolts that hold the hub in.

This is assuming you have the proper tools and skills to do the job correctly. Why do you need to replace the wheel hub?
