G37xS lowered on Swift Springs
G37xS lowered on Swift Springs
Lowered my car last week. It's a MY 2009, which do tend sit lower than MY 2010+ sedans.
I do not have any before pictures of the stock height. I am sure everyone has seen one.
Here are the after pictures. I have stock coupe rims, all four are the 9" rears with 245/40/19 tires.

I can say that the ride is definitely stiffer, but there is absolutely no roll when turning. I will update as I do more miles.

Haven't heard the 2010+ sit higher, all the suspension components are the same from all I've read. I know the 2009+ are heavier than the 2007-2008s equipped w/ the AT though.
If you want to black out your window chrome and paint your tails here's a couple of my DIYs if you want to go that route~

I am happy with the drop. It could use some 10-15mm spacers for a flusher look.
I also have a G37xs 09. Hows the ride quality, cornering, acceleration and handling on the 19s before the swift compared to stock? I am debating on getting new wheels and if I do, whether its 18s or 19s (currently on 18s).
You mention you're on 19x9 and want to add spacers. You think I can get away with 9.5 or mabe even 10", all around setup without rubbing when I lower it too? Thanks.

I am not an expert of wheels, I believe you will have to take the wheel offset into account along with the width of the rim. I am posting this from my phone, there's a good wheel offset calculator I think on tirerack that uses your current setup to calculate different setups.

Nice looking set-up. I love the drop! Sporty but not bump-a-dump. I have a 2010 G37S and have been thinkin' hard about the Swift Springs. I like the idea of linear loading but haven't been able to contact anyone in a technical capacity to get some feedback. I connected through their website and they just referred me to a local merchant who wasn't able to get down and dirty with some tech talk. The stock "S" suspensions ride a little stiff, but the dampening is pleasant enough. When you say it rides stiffer, is it more harsh than stock? Does it stick it to you up the spine (so to speak)? I would like to improve the minimal roll it has now and improve the rebounding but don't want to ruin long rides. What say you???

did you get an alignment yet? Curious if you're out of spec. Love the setup you have w/ the S Coupe wheels and slight drop...not really a huge fan of the "blacked out" look, but to each his own.
I picked them up from a local member near me. If you are around Toronto, TougeTuning sells them.
Perhaps you should look into upgrading the swaybars first if you haven't already done so. They will decrease the roll while cornering.
With upgrading swaybar the ride will only suffer minimal while improving handling and reducing roll. With the springs it's more fun to drive, however, the ride does suffer more. My car is a G37x, which has a softer suspension to begin with compared to a G37S. With that said, I notice I do feel more road imperfections. It doesn't send a jolt up the spine, but I am avoiding potholes and manholes more than before.
These springs are slightly used so I got an alignment right away after the install. I got both front and rear camber kits, so everything is back to specs. I decided I would rather spend 600 bucks than to chew through tires.
