Great write up OP! I have these same springs and love them. They are perfect for a DD. Yea they wont help with stock wheels without spacers but put some Vossens on and you'll be one happy camper

Dagon, isn't the drop on these things perfect?!

Your Vossen's look really good, and I was extremely close to getting a set of 19" CV3's, but I opted for coupe wheels instead. They come in today, pics to follow soon!

Sweet! I am subscribed to this thread for your pics! Yes I love this drop. I had the same Swift Sport Springs on my Coupe but the drop was a little too low in rear and wasnt even. These that are designed for the sedan are perfect especially for a DD!

Have you gotten it in for an alignment?

I plan to install mine this weekend then put 600+ miles on it. I imagine alignment won't be off so bad it rides weird or excessively wears tires if it's just for a few hundred miles. I will likely just have excessive neg camber front and rear, right? Toe shouldn't be impacted...

The Swift springs are linear so you'll only need to wait a week or two before getting an allignment. There is little negative camber which will be adjusted to spec or near spec when you get your allignment. Here's my sheet.

I've been pretty lazy at getting my alignment. In all honesty, it'll probably be after Thanksgiving before it ultimately ends up happening. I will definitely be posting the results when I do though.

Smile

Spent 9 hrs straight today putting on swift on my '12 g37xS. At one point I wanted to kill myself for not able to take out the shocks in the front. Putting on the new springs was pain on the butt too. I cursed like thousands of times when I spent hours putting on the first spring, installed and then realized that you have to align the outer struct bolt vertically with a metal piece on the lower of the shock. If you been through this you know what I am talking about. The rear install was easy.

At the end, it was worth it. I like the drop, so far the handling feels good. Need to do more driving with the new spring tomorrow.

Great review and pics, drop is really nice to lessen the gap but still keep it easy to live w/ as a DD. Nice to hear the ride quality isn't jaw rattling as well
Looks like Botas' prototype has paved the way for quite a few new "Swifters", and seems like everyone's liking them quite a bit.
