Brake fluid

Im looking to upgrade to new rotors and pads + SS lines for my akebonos in the near future, and am looking for advice on brake fluids as I have no experience with anything other than oem. I daily drive my car, often "spirited", and have only tracked it once but another track day is almost inevitable.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice

Motul 600 is a good and relatively cheap option.

I am running amsoil 600 in my car. Makes the brake pedal feel completely different.

And if you're getting SS lines, will definitely be different

Different in WHAT way? Explain.

I have SS Brake Lines, StopTech D&S Rotors, and Posi Quiet Pads. I might get some new Brake Fluid since we will need some anyway.

Thanks

with high temb brake fluid you won't feel that "give" in the brake pedal....especially braking hard at high speeds.

SS lines pretty much eliminates the spongy feeling in the pedal when braking all together.

Bandit, if you're changing the pads, rotors ans putting in SS line..I would highly recommend changing out the brake fluid. You're already having to bleed the brakes because of the SS line install...might as well change the fluid while you're at it.

I suppose it doesn't matter what kind you go with unless you're tracking your G. If you intend on tracking your G, go with a high temp like Motul or amsoil.
