COILOVERS: What do you think of these coilovers for my G.

Just purchased my G37 Monday and want to put some staggered 20" Vossens on there with some Coilovers. I think id rather go with coilovers so i can adjust the height I want. Please tell me what you think of some of these brands for a decent/good price......

I would check the Suspension sub-forum. If I remember correctly a couple of those may make noise but I would research for personal reviews before buying. I was looking at coilovers for around $1k as well but decided to just go with the KW V3s and call it a day.

KW are more expensive than any of those but are probably the most widely used coilover for the V36 platform that I have yet to see a single complaint about. Some of the ones you have listed are suspect on this platform or other cars. The V3 are the higher end version with damping adjustability, the V1 are more basic and only height adjustable and probably closer in price to those you named but I'd take the KW V1 over any of those you have listed. The build quality between most German or Japanese manufactured products and ones from Taiwan, Korea, or China are not equal.

Welcome to the forum.

You should check out Tanabe pro s-0c.

I'm running them for about about 4 months now and like them a lot.

I'm not a big fan of any of the ones you've listed in your original post. People have complained about the ones you posted about in one way or another.

To be honest, I purchased tanabe's because of the praises of certain people on here. They don't have adjustable damping, but the ride quality is good. Dare I say better than the oem S suspension, but still gives me the sporty control I want for spirited driving. And so far, not one peep out of them.

I purchased them from JM autoracing. They're a vendor on here.

Where is best place/price to buy Stance Coilovers?
I think I like TANABE or STANCE after doing some research. Tanabe price is better but the Stance seem to be better and fully adjustable.

Member named vosseng37s just went from tanabe to stance, he is amazed by the difference. I had tein flex and changed to stance and was amazed at the ride quality, adjustability, and overall performance of those coils. I think thm Motorsport has them. They are sometime hard to come by. True oem coils, there is a member selling some in the classifieds for 1050.
