Doesnt seem like they are going to change the part #. It looks like they're just going to stop producing the old style and supply their distributors with the new design.

If this is true this is going to suck, because if you order from vendor you have no clue if its the old stock or the new ones that you are getting.

a pic of the old and new arms side by side shot would be nice to see if there is a change on the arm besides just upgrading to better steel...

Yes, we have developed an upgrade/exchange program.* If you see signs that your arm has been compromised (due to installation error) or you simply want the updated design, SPC will offer you a heavily discounted exchange program.* Feel free to call SPC customer service at 1-800-525-6505.* Our sales team will walk you through the following;*
1.**** We will charge you $450 for a new set of arms. (This will cover regular UPS)
2.**** Once you receive the new arms, swap them out with the ones on your car.
3.**** Send the old arms back to us.
4.**** We will credit $300 back to your credit card upon receipt of the old arms.
*
The new arms you receive will be complete with new ball joints, bushings, and bump stop spacers.*
*

Can you tell me the name of the person that emailed you that information?

I want to be informed when I call tomorrow!

Here is the rest.

Sorry for the delay.

Hi Brian,
*
The part numbers are 72130 (a pair of arms for the front) and 72280 (one camber arm and one toe cam for the rear.)* It is a little confusing, but you will need 1 x 72130 and 2 x 72280 to take care of all four corners.
*
We do not sell out of the factory, so I would have to quote you full list, but I suspect you could find the front set for less than $450 and the rears for less than $95 each.
*
I can recommend a handful of distributors off of the top of my head; IAP Direct, TH Motorsports, Motovicity, Promotion, TireRack, and Ultra Rev are all reputable distributors for us.* (You could ask them to Drop Ship direct from SPC if you wanted to be 100% sure to get the newest arms.)
*
Thanks, Ben

Were the rear control arms actually changed?

Edit: Forgive me, I didn't see the question answered a few posts up.
