lowering kit advice?
I would say they cost around 250-350. It really depends on whether if your car is X or not. If its an X, you have limited options such as the Eibach Pro Kit 6399.140 or the Swift springs for the X sedan. If its not, then you have a lot of options such has the tanabes, H&Rs, eibachs etc. Installation wise, it will take around 3-4 hours.
A mild drop like Eibachs, Tenabes, or Swift, & you may not need camber arms & toe bolt kits. H&Rs, Tein S Tech, B&G and some others w/ more aggressive drops will require the arms/bolts to keep your alignment in spec (and your tires from getting ripped up). Eibachs are fairly mild but still may require the arms/bolts, each vehicle reacts slightly different and some can get alignment in spec while others have to get the kits. The kits run about $500 for the front & rear, and on the milder drops you may only need the toe bolt kit (about $70) or just the rear set. You'll also need an alignment that's about $100-$120. The springs are in the $200-250 range so if you need everything it'll cost about $800-850, if you can get by w/ just the springs & alignment it'll be $300-350. If you have a shop do the labor it's a couple hundred for the springs and another couple hundred for the arms & toebolts. I did the springs, F&R arms, toe bolts all at once since I knew I'd need them from the start and it took about 5 hours give or take. You'll need some good jackstands & jack, compressor w/ impact wrench, some PB blast, breaker bar and a good set of spring compressors (please stay away from the cheapy Harbor Freight compressors, those could be deadly). You can rent them from Autozone/O'Reilys. Go to the DIY section on here or G35Driver.com for detailed instructions & tips. Here's a good database on various springs & wheel setups too~
