I might be the only one but IDK what your abbreviations stand for, and Im not even sure what point your first statement meant.

I have the GT Spec FSTB.
I really like the look, and I can feel the added "tightness" in cornering.
The biggest bang for the buck in suspension, is adding performance sway bars. I put on Hotchkis. It make a huge difference in cornering.

ive had both gtspec and cusco and hotchkis sways. front upper strut bar is for show only. there is very minimal difference. sways make the difference but do stiffen it up a bit so you feel the bumps.

Which one's the that's more likely to rub on your hood? I read it some where but I forgot.

The GT Spec rubs the hood more. I have the Cusco and there is still some slight rubbing it could be because I corner really hard.

With the Cusco bar, I had no rubbing until I took the car to the track.

Guys!

If you want the GTSPEC bar to work! You have to install the bar preloaded, in which means the car up in the air with wheels off the ground! If you do not do that you will not feel any kind of change! My shop preloaded my bar and I could feel the change right as I drove off.

You have to preload the bar!

Cusco fits better and doesn't scratch the Hood therefore your Bar will be scratch free as opposed to the other Brand.

I had front and rear sways before got my GT Strut tower, I noticed a difference in the cars handling when I put the sways on from stock...but the steering got stiffer after the GT strut tower months later. It's definitely not a waist. the sways and the strut towers bring their own additions to the handling separate from each other. My cornering is more than formidable right now.

So if the bar was already installed, just uninstall, lift the car and reinstall it? This is the first I have heard of this, but makes sense.

I didn't lift my car to install the strut tower and I noticed a difference.

I had heard the same thing before installing but in researching could find no definite instruction either way...some said lift the car some didn't...even in the youtube DIY vids...so I installed without lifting and there was a noticeable dif afterwards.
