Talking Pics of new drilled/slotted rotors on g37XS...Sick Deal

Hey guys long time no post, just wanted to show the new upgrade. So I really disliked the standard brakes/rotors that came stock with the XS sedan, since you don't get the akebono with the AWD. I wanted good quality at a good price. So i did my research online and stumbled upon Brakemotive on ebay for a set of front and rear drilled slotted rotors with Powerstop ceramic brake pads for a funny price of $199 free shipping. it was just to good to be true, but The listing really did look good, the seller had 50,000+ feedback, and 99.9% possitive, so I checked reviews through various forums and looked thru the feedbacks, and found that it was legit, they were actually good quality stuff for a great price. Listen im not one to cheap out on breaks, i don't race but i have a very haeavy foot (10.9MPG lol). so i decided to give it a go, i came to my friends shop, and the guy really is a great all around mechanic, not to mention he is one of my best friends, he looked at them and said they really are good stuff as he can see by eye, but obviously the only way your going to tell (warp, dust, squeak, stopping power) is to actually throw them on and go lol....yes i know im captain obvious)...so went ahead and got rid of the old (rusted, disgusting looking setup)....that first day i had to leave on a trip of about 300 miles there and back, i know not the best way to break them in, they should def get used to heat before putting that much stress on them, but had no other options because could not drive my old breaks as they were gone and i knew i was getting new rotors regardless so pushed every penny out of them lol...i have to say, the moment i drove out of the shop it was like day and night...amazing quality, no shutter, no squeek, minimal dust, and stopping power was a dramatic increase....(im not comparing to my brakes when they were already shot, but to when i first put them on) i have 16,000 miles on the car, and this is my 3rd set of front brakes, and 2nd set of rear, all before hand were OEM, and when i got them changed, i had the original rotors shaved. i thru some pics in to show the visual difference. i also had the calipers painted silver with hi-temp paint to give it a look that a sports sedan should come stock with. stock is rear, new is front, when i took the pics, already had the front done.

now that you have more miles on the brakes how are the initial bite of them? can you notice a difference?

Awesome! I looked at them on ebay, very good prices. I don't see any for 2010-2011 g's though? Which kit did you buy?

700+ miles on them, i have to say they are great, stops on a dime, no noise, minimal dust (same as oem)... for the money this is a well worth buy....you have to look in the actual description, it says for which years/models it fits...they def have them.

looks good I was thinking about getting the akebono brake kit in the future but may have to do this because of the price
