BC Coilovers or Tanabe Sustec Coilovers ?

i'm finally decided to drop my G37S but i can't decide between BC Coilovers or Tanabe Sustec Coilovers. I know Tanabe can only adjust ride high but i'm actually looking for better ride quality.. better than stock ride quality.

Thanks

First of all, before you get flame for not searching lol since there are multiple threads comparing different coils including the ones you're interested in. I will give you my take, I have tanabe's for the money you can't go wrong only part that sucks you cannot adjust dampering only height. Regardless I'm happy with mines rides great without any kind of noise or issues.

Ps. SEARCH is your FRiEnD uSE it!

i did search on coilovers and those are my final 2 choices. Since they are about the same price i'm having a hard time deciding.

I have read of both having issues, Tanabe apparently blowing struts, and not wanting to replace under warranty and BC to have squeaking issues. I'm not sure what causes either, just what I've picked up through the forums.

On a side note I have the KWv3s and have 0 complaints and 0 issues. Awesome ride and adjustability. The V3s are quoit a bit more than the ones you listed but I belive the V1s w/o dampening adjustability are a little closer to those you listed.

This is my take from my old EM2. I have had the BC Racing coilovers and the KW V3 on that car. The KW's were far superior than the BC's. My BC's offered a very stiff ride even at softer settings. It also had the squeaking problem that everyone has talked about. I pretty much believe in the you get what you pay for concept.... and seeing has this is one of the more important parts to ur suspension, I wouldn't cheap out on it/

im on tanabes - my only complaint is they are soft. if your like to Auto X then get the BC. I was debating on trying to trade my tanabes for a set of dampening coils but i doubt i will as they are a complete PITA to take on and off hahaha.

But i do have people ride in the G that they have a Stock S model and say they love the ride as it isnt as harsh as stock sport.

0 complaints or issues with my BC's.

save up and get either Tein's or KW's. Suspension def isn't the part to cheap out on.

Are you saying BC or Tanabe would be cheaping out? In my opinion they are reputable companies. They may not make the BEST coilovers on the market, but I wouldn't have any safety concerns about their product.
