Sway bars do not affect ride quality. Play with the settings and see what works for you.

I just picked my xS yesterday and I'm looking for excuses to drive it.

I wouldn't say the don't affect ride quality because if you go on uneven grounds where one wheel is higher than the other it will be a Lot more ridged and stiff. Therefore you will feel more jerkyness on ueven grounds but still well worth it

anyone using them with the soft-front, soft-rear settings?

I'm wondering, as I have such types of the roads (uneven, with potholes, etc.) all around, but still want to upgrade sways to ride on the good highways!...

I have an xS and I'm close to trading the car in or selling it soon.

however, I may do the sway bars first. I have a true rwd S rsb right now, oem. and it helped, I like the difference it made. for a few weeks! and since then, I want a different car with a sport suspension. i made a huge mistake getting this xS, since it's not a sport tuned suspension and the only coilovers avail are not from a reputable vendor.

if you guys think doing an aftermarket f+r sway bar would help a great deal, I may owe it to myself and the car, to try that first.

how difficult is the front installation?

I knew someone will say that. I agreed, but it will not be noticable. The ground will have to be so uneven to feel any difference, in which case you will not take the G there in the first place. Go for the sway bars upgrade!

The front is VERY easy! Pull the under tray down (Feels like a dozen screws). Undo the two end link bolts and undo the four bolts holding the bar to the frame. Lube the new bushings and put the bar in the same way you took the old bar out.

I did both front and rear bars this past weekend and the front took half the time the rear did. The rear would have been quick if I didn't have to drop the exhaust.

Oops sorry. I realize BC has a n app for my car. But I'm looking for a manufacturer with a solid reputation.

I had a rear hotchkis sway bar on my 2010 GTI. I can still remember the first exit ramp took after having it installed. Quite amazing!! Rails on rails.

Can't wait to get mine installed.
