my steering wheel shakes when I hit brake

Hi,just like the title says my steering wheel shakes when I hit on sudden brakes, or hit brake at 70mph or higher, especially on highway.

I did not notice it for the first time, and I thought that car does that
but my mom has Lexus and she got her brake service including brake pad and rotors for free bcuz it was on their bulletin board.

So should I take it to dealership?
do we have bulletin board on the brake as Lexus does?

If any of you have these same problems, please let me know

Thanks a lot

Luckily Infiniti is not as lame as some US manufacturers that put on disposable rotors that are so cheap they need replacement and can't be turned.

I've noticed if someone has this problem it will come back numerous times. I've not had the issue with 40k miles yet but will probably replace the rotors with aftermarket anyway.

I did cross drilled rotors and really good ceramic hawk performance pads and it made an incredible differance. Mine did the same thing. Good luck!

If my G is due for pad/rotor replacement I will go for drilled rotors.

Most brake shakings are caused by rust on the rotor (damp brakes didn't get heated up and start to rust). Make sure you heat up the brakes before parking the car especially in the winter.

Not to me it doesnt. My last car was a bmw 330i, the first test drive i did with it was awful. It pulled left when i hit the brakes and a lound rumble and vibs
coming from the back. Disks were warped on an quite more expensive car than the G and felt like a 30 years old pickup truck.

so since its in tsb or in bulletin board
i can get this service in warranty?right?
about 2 months ago, dealership told me my brake pads are good for another 5000 miles
so they should not tell me to replace pads on my own cost,, right?
thanks

From: Framingham Ma,
Mines at the dealer now, Wheel shakes at anything over 60 MPH and shakes when braking..Hope they stand behind the TSB and do not try to say it's my drop or spacers.
