You are from NY right? Do you ever worry about potholes and stuff with the drop? I've been considering doing my x coupe but am worried about the rough roads around here in MA.

I also have a 2011 G37x. Keep in mind, since the ride height is higher on the X vs the S, the drop will also be more significant. For us X owners, the Eibach springs drop us 1.9"/1.6" vs the S guys where the Eibach kit drops them (and correct me if I'm wrong) (1.2"/0.8"). If you're looking for a small drop, I'd suggest you go for the Eibach kit for the S, keeping in mind you'll still have a small gap between the fender and the tire. But if you want to get rid of the gap and have it flush between your fender and wheel, get the AWD Eibach springs.

I also think that since we're dropping close to 2 inches, you should invest in a F/R camber kit in the near, if not immediate, future.

Lastly (and this just my opinion): again, since we're dropping two inches from the stock height, the struts should theoretically wear out faster than our S counterparts. Again, correct me if I'm wrong.

I thought the springs for the S won't fit on the X... but i don't like how much the X springs drop us... I want the S drop for my X

If the S springs fit on the X, i'm all over it!!!!!!!!

The guy that installed my springs said they would fit. Idk for sure though...I would assume they would though since most parts are interchangeable b/w the S and X.

sorry, my bad, must of copied wrong:

https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-cou...x-coupe-2.html

ive hit plenty of pot holes at varying speeds, no damage thus far. unfortunately theyre are difficult to avoid sometimes but nothing more than loud thuds have occurred. You dont need the camber kit either, get it only if you really want it. its not off that much.

Im under the impression that the S springs do not fit the AWD. not sure if anyone around here has tried it, search the suspension section and see what you come up with.

The struts will wear out faster because theyre "working" harder in either model thats lowered. it shouldnt be all that significant of a difference with normal/easy driving. if your on bumps and hills and pot holes all the time you'll wear out your stock stuff quick
