Caliper Covers? Or Paint...

Anyone use or know of a good caliper cover vendor? Or has anyone painted their calipers?

Please do not use caliper covers. It is the epitome of rice and looks like total dogchit. If you're going to paint your calipers go with silver or black so they don't stand out. Good luck.

I painted my NON-s calipers last summer with the duplicolor caliper paint kit. I sanded them down and followed the instructions. Half if not more of each caliper has chipped off paint and looks ugly now. I now have to redo it, but am looking at better products.
If you're planning on painting them, don't use the duplicolor paint kit!

Caliper covers are a Big NO NO!,

A lot of people have gotten their Akebono calipers powder coated. Feel free to paint them whatever color you like. Just don't be putting "brembo" or "endless" stickers on them.

I painted the calipers on my old tiburon using silver caliper paintt from pepboys, I degreased then brushed it on, sprayed into a cup and painted with the brush from there. Never chipped, never pitted, stayed bright and clean the entire 3 years I had the car

That was my point I guess, just didn't know if he was looking for covers that would make them look bigger or what.

no covers!

Ok. Got it. I took a for that one. And no, I was not going for the covers for a size increase.

I want to powder coat the calipers for a subtle effect, not throw stickers on or try to rice my car out. I do have the 37S but my calipers being gray bore me...

Does no one else agree with me that a subtle change in color can go a long way? How about the violent RED calipers on Porsche's? I like that! No?

It all depends. If you have nice wheels, I'd paint them blue, green, or yellow. Red is over-due and you don't want to be that guy.. maybe you do? I dunno.. Anyways.. If you black it out, I would definitely do like a light/lime green color, it looks beyond sick if you have the right set-up though
