Springs for G37X?

Hey guys, I'm new to the modding scene so don't bash me for asking any stupid questions! I looked around the forums and couldn't really find anything on this subject...I was looking to drop my ride and was wondering is it any different for us awd owners? I was considering installing a set of the Eibach Pros or the Tanabes since I just want a slight, conservative drop, not like the drops on H&Rs. Will these work?

Thanks for any input.

no the front springs are different. if you look on the eibach website there are different springs. they drop more than the springs for the S.

There's a thread a few pages back about this, its in this section about lowering an X. Mines lowered on eibachs and I persnally love them. There's soe pictures of my car if you'd like to check it out, ill try and locate the thread and repost the link. Best bang for your buck with the eibach prokit I think! The springs on the awd are diff from the s but the drops are relatively the same I believe

I have an 09 AWD and I did Eibach Pros on my car. I loved the way it came out.

Here is a pic of my 09 G37 X with S wheels and Eibach Pros.

Picture isn't showing up csnpsu. Did you install 4 of the same tires too or are you staggered on the 19s?

Sorry about that, the pic should show up now.

I am staggered on 19's. You can run staggered widths on an AWD just not staggered rim sizes. No 18's in front and 19's in back. If you have 19's all around you can run with wider tires in the back.

Thanks for the pics! Very very nice and clean. That's what I'm looking to do to mine. I'm already shopping for mods and thinking about doing this and that and I've only had the car for 2 days lol!

If this year's 18" wheels didn't look like the 19s from previous years S models, I'd totally get them. But right now, I can't justify paying $1500+ for the same wheel but an inch bigger haha. I'd love some Work or Vossen wheels though...one can only dream...

How long should I expect the stock struts to last with lowered springs? I don't want to install springs and then have the struts crap out on me in like 2 years. I'd rather save up for some coilovers if that's the case.

Wow are you kidding me? I was just throwing out a random number. Geez maybe I'll pass on the springs for now...My last car was a '96 Lexus ES and I never had to replace any part of the suspension. Still rides like it did back in '96.
