Rust Inside of The Wheel?

so with my new rims and tires on my car it is pretty easy to see through my rims to the inside part of my wheel. I have noticed when i starts to rain the part where the tire connects to the car turns rusty. is this bad? anyway to avoid that or you cannot prevent it?

i have a feeling that what you're seeing is actually rust on the brake rotors. it's normal and nothing to worry about. the reason you only notice after it rains is because the rust forms after they get wet but is rubbed off by the brake pads when you drive.
