rwd 37 sedan SPRINGS on 37x awd

SO...would STOCK rwd 37 sedan springs lower a 37x sedan? I've searched and searched and only found Stock 370z front springs and Stock 37 coupe springs installed on a 37x...anyone tried rwd stock sedan springs? any good results? Live in north east and can't "slam" especially with winter around the corner. Thanks gang...

i think somebody had done it and said the difference in the front was barely noticeable...which is where the huge gap is

not g37, but 08 G35 sedan RWD/AWD swap here. Lowered about .5-.75in. I am very happy with the results.

Was there any change in ride/handling? I'm thinking of doing the same, can't have it too low with all the potholes and bumps, but would definitely like a lower ride.

Thats not a low drop at all. It will look like a stock rwd g37s ride height. Plus it will stiffen up a bit for better handling.

Was the drop even? No droopy butt? How is the ride on the rwd springs?

I've decided to go with Coupe 37S front springs (just acquired) and simply do an upper springmount shave for the rear...someone on here did a complete coupe spring swap and had the saggy bum effect...so I'm only gonna do like a .5in shave on the rears and keep the same oem rear springs. With the Coupe37S front springs should bring it down about 1in. up front and hopefully still have a nice raked look. It'll be a Thanx Giv project...will post pics once complete.

Yeah that thread was the inspiration..but I'm gonna do some "actual" measuring before and after...as someone mentioned - fingering is usually left for the drive home, under a table or the movies - normally not tied into suspension...

Also, I'm not gonna use the rear springs so - again I hope to avoid the saggy bum look.

If putting Eibach springs designed for the g35s on the g35x results in the droopy bum effect, im sure you'll see the same using the OEM springs on a 37.

This was done and resulted in a droopy butt.
