^ Told ya!!! Lol JK.

Hey BJ that sucks! Is it causing a lot of rubbing? Or can you roll without like Raul suggested. If you're gonna replace, I would think you could just compress the coil and get to the inside shaft once the spring is removed from the strut.

Finagle, so BC coils don't have any bumpstops at all?

I'd raise the car 1/8" to 1/4" to lessen the pressure on the rebound, so next time you won't have this issue, you must be SLAMMED. On a more positive note, this is the first I've ever heard of this issue with KWs on any car and they're really big in the euro scene (and you know those guys are slammed).

If had to make a guess, I would say it probably had something to do with the height along with the weight of the car... It's a lot of pressure on the coils when you're low and stiff.

I haven't yet. KW is a PITA to get in touch with. The US based rep I talked to today said he needed to follow-up with warehouses in Germany. Gotta deal with the mothership on this one.

They do, but the overall strut wasn't designed correctly. If the strut were allowed to actually hit the bumpstop, it would travel through the top of the fender in order to do it.

Horrible design by BC. Otherwise the coilover system is just fine.

Started raising the car yesterday evening. Didn't have time to finish both sides. Taking some time to get both sides even. Will continue this evening and update. Still no response from KW as to if a part is available.

It's not hard, just time consuming. I'm raising my front as that's where I'm having problems.

Right on. I have to raise the rear but I'm gonna have a shop do it, was curious on the difficulty level of adjusting the coilovers. And as far as time consuming I'm sure your talking about trying to get both sides even huh lol. Was gonna try and do it myslef but I don't wanna mess anything up.

First problem i heard/read about the KW v3 so far... was planning to get the kw in the future too... does this means that the KW isn't bumpy friendly? Or did this happen because BlackJack is set too low? Update us on how this goes BJ, and good luck with fixing this.

It's not hard to raise your car at all. Just jack it up, take off the wheels, and use the included wrench and spin it so you see the spring decompressing.

Would you recommend them still, aside from this design flaw?

No it isn't, just very time consuming to get all 4 corners to match.

That's just for the fronts bro. The rears are a little harder then that.
