I found a couple different reviews of the stoptech and goodridge lines, but I'm trying to see if there are any new users who haven't posted their reviews or have bought some lines recently

So Akebono users, what brand of stainless steel brake lines are you using?

Any problems?

Any difficulties when installing (like jnguyen did)?

Any other feedback?

I have czp's, which is fine. However, the lines only have one bracket holding it, and i still feel like the front is a bit too long. Mentioned this to Coz, but i'm not sure if he's redesigned it.

Haven't had any problems with it, but i do check it every so often just to make sure the lines aren't rubbing anywhere.

I'm running the Racing Brake SST lines. I originally had the Stop Techs, but the fronts were WAY too long. The Racing Brake lines are a very nice design, are the proper length in front, and allow you to either keep the factory hard lines in the rear or remove them altogether.

I'm fairly certain it's a combination of the wrong application and installer error of not noticing it. I originally had the wrong application. I could tell right away when looking at the new parts and the lines on the car. I was able to exchange them and hand no issues. I don't remember our application using banjo bolts and copper crush washers.

I've had bad experiences with goodridge in the past, having gone through 3 packages that were mislabeled for the car I had at the time

So it sounds like at least 3 of us have managed to get the wrong parts somehow. I think mine was my own fault (can't remember) but it's curious that it's happening to multiple customers fir this application.

When I returned the wrong ones and got the right ones, everything was great.

Mine used banjo bolts with crush washers at the caliper connections up front, but in the rear the lines could either be connected directly to the caliper with the supplied banjo bolts or connected to the factory hard line. I've installed two of the Racing Brake kits, one on my car, and one on KulG35's car and both worked perfectly. I kept the factory hard lines in the rear on my car, but bypasses them on Travis' car since he didn't get them with his Akebono kit.

When I installed the Stop Tech lines on my buddies G37 I had to wrap them around the front shock twice to take up the extra slack... that, plus a ton of zip ties did the trick. LOL
