The sport brakes fit on the G37 sedan with 18" wheels. So I would assume they'd also fit on the coupe with 18" wheels since they have the same offsets and widths.

I want to know for certain too... but seems that no one has actually put the sport brakes on the AWD coupe yet.

The brakes will fit the car, that's not in question. They may or may not fit behind all styles of OEM 18" wheels.

Get bigger wheels.

If the wheels have the same offsets and width as the 18" sedan wheels why wouldn't they fit? All you need to do is check the manual if you want to be sure. It'll tell you the specs for the wheel there. If they're the same as the sedan 18" wheels the brakes will fit.

Good to know.

Well, my lease on my sedan is up next Feb. So I am going to try to lease a new coupe XS. Before I sign the paperwork I'll have the dealer confirm this for sure. I can even bring one of my wheels with me.

It's actually really important to me since I didn't want to lease a new coupe X and end up with two sets of the same exact wheels for winter and summer.

What is your reasoning for switching to the sport brake setup?
Are you going to run your G at the track?
You will not be able to tell the difference under regular driving conditions.
The only noticeable difference would be under racetrack conditions.
The non-sport brakes will start to fade quicker then the sport brakes at the track.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, the sedan with sport brakes uses an 18" wheel set up. So assuming the coupe wheels have the same offsets and widths (I can almost guarantee they will) then the brakes will fit just fine under the stock 18" wheels on the coupe.

Actually, I could care less about the sport brakes since I don't track the car... I am more interested in the 19 inch wheels.. or at least better wheels than the current AWD version. I think the car looks terrible with the 18's as compared to sport. The 18 inch coupe wheels look better on my sedan. I'll put up with the 18's for winter use though.
