2010 G37xS dropped

Bought a set of Tanabe Sustec DF210 lowering springs from a board member to test fit on my G37AWD. The springs are designed for 07-08 G35 Sedan RWD.

this is a quick review as I just finished the install myself this evening and took the car for a 5 min test drive to settle everything.

Install difficulty rear - extremely easy with one bolt to remove.
Install difficulty front - this took about 3 hours as the first side I really had no idea how to properly remove the shocks, after I figured it all out the opposite side went very smooth. The front suspension is very different from the rwd and I will get into more detail after I post some pics.

Picture of front suspension.

Stock height front and rear on the awd was 28.5" from ground to fender.
After lowering the front now sits @ 27.25" and the rear slightly lower @ 26.5".
The car made need a few days to settle, hopefully the front may even out.

First impressions... Handling has improved 100%!! and best of all the car does not feel stiff at all. it feels like oem, or even less bouncy than before. I know these springs are designed to be 10-15% higher spring rates than OEM, but I also think that Infiniti increased the spring rates on the 2010 awd models... So they have an oem feel to them.

I will get some pics tomorrow and post asap.
thanks for reading.

Looks nice. I'd love to lower mine, but with the rear that much lower than the front, i think i'd pass. Has it settled any differently so it doesn't look like a droopy butt?

i think a few guys have lowered their x's with eibach's and there is no difference in height from the front to rear. ive been trying to figure out what the best way to lower x is for the past week though... so frustrating!!!

I wonder how the NF springs would do as they don't lower as far as the DF springs? Tanabe is still looking for an awd sedan and a rwd sedan I'm order to spec out new springs. They say it will only take 2 days. Would love to do it myself if i was in California!

Yes it didn't settle much and I wanted it more even, so after reading a post on G35driver I ordered some Energy Suspension Coil mounts and raised the rear end up 5/8". Now the suspension sits perfectly even @ 27-1/8" front and rear.
