What type of tracking do you do? How long each session? How many sessions per day?

You may think about upgrading more than just pads depending on hard hard you are tracking. SOme folks are finding that the Akebonos are not up always up for the job.

Not sure about the others but from what I have read I dont think that Hawks will be too agressive.

Well I installed my Hawk HPS pads today with stock rotors. The rotors didn't need to be resurfaced, so I just sanded them with a 130 grit sandpaper to get the old pad material off the rotors.

Everything is working great, and I fixed the annoying brake squeal.

I suggest you to try pad first and second tire(slick) and third disk and then caliper
Dont waste your money before you try this step first.
After you change your break pad dont forget the bleeding your brake.^^

i had hps pads for 2months now and without racing tire it will be overkill.
just go with ceramic one.
hps will give you great stop power but your tires cant keep up with it
and it has spueal sound with lots lots of dust.
So unless You go to the track with slick tires ceramic will be perfect choice.

btw i go to the track every 2month.
