Strut Tower Braces

If it didn't scrap the hood, I'd be all over it. Someone needs to redesign the engine cover to allow more room to lower the strut bar.

Looks like with the way it's designed it would flex a lot. I realize it's because there's not a lot of room between the hood and intake cover but that thin/flat aluminum bar and the significant bends would make it a wet noodle. I bet you can flex that in your hands. It probably doesn't do a whole bunch to transfer load from one strut tower to the other. .

Update on the Circuit Sports fitment
OKay guys,
I finally got around to doing some of the mods toady and got my Stillen Gen 3's installed along with the circuit sports strut tower brace. There was no problems what so ever with clearance. I did do my own paint job on it as it was just to plain for me. Anyway here are some pics for you guys.

Points of contact
I just went out and check the hood clearance. It just hits on the two corners but it is only the insulation. I lowered it down to the latch without any contact what so ever but as soon as you close it completely it rubs the insulation. here are some pics. I believe you could cut the insulation blanket out where it is contacting and there would be no problems. i personally am not going to worry about it it is only going to rub off my paint job over time.

To each his own! It took me a while to find a place to d the decals for me. How's the weather out there? I miss the place! I worked for Air Mic in the 90's out of the P.I. but was in Guam a lot. Always had a good time while I was there.

Yes it is but everyone in Guam remembers Air Mic before Continental.
