Sticking Caliper?

I have 10K on my car and it seems that the brakes are really sticky all of a sudden. Much harder to modulate smoothly, and it seems to be slowing down the car's acceleration some. The right front also makes a fairly loud squeal when backing up. Could this be just crud built up on the rotors from city traffic, or could it possibly be an issue with the brakes/calipers? The brakes have been great so far, so this is really strange.

I just take it by a brake place and have them check them out. then if something is really wrong take it into the dealer.
