Question Newbie with brake question

I just picked this car up a week ago. I was experiencing some weird vibration and pulsing when i brake. Took it back to dealer and they replaced front rotors. They stated they were out of round. Now for some reason it seems like its happening again. It could just be me. Its not a violent shake. Ok so my question is do you guys experience vibration when braking from any speed? Is it just me? Please help me out.

I only felt the vibration when braking around 50-70mph, Take it back and have them re-surface the rotors, i had this same problem and after they re-surfaced the rotors everything was smooth, see my receipt for info-

Im gonna take it back. Thanks for the reply. Im a little mad cause this car is brand new. This should not be a problem. Especially on a $44,000 car. And the fact they replaced the front rotors already. Maybe its just me. I dunno. I need someone else to drive it and tell me.

why don't you drive one on their lot to see if it's just your car? you said you recently picked it up, there shouldn't be a vibration or pulsing... i've never had this problem and i have 16 k miles almost. there was a pulsing ONCE when my ABS kicked on cause some r tard pulled in front of me without seeing me.

My experience with past Nissan brakes is that when they’re hot, such as after a hard stop, and you run over a puddle or a wet road that cools them down quickly they may warp and cause that vibration you described. If that was your situation try to avoid it in the future.

I was just out for lunch and slammed my brakes a few times for a test - they gripped great and no pulsing.

Hmmm it seems like it's not doing it now. Very weird. Maybe the new rotors needed to wear in a bit? OR its raining here today maybe cuz they are wet.

I just pick my car up Monday 06/01 and I feel the exact same thing. I let go the steering wheel while braking slightly and see the steering wheel is shaking back and forth sideway. Should I take it back for service or the brake needs to be brake in for a couple of hundred miles first?

I did have the same issue with the steering wheel vibrating. But mine started doing that after some hard tracking with the ABS kicking in many times which I believe contributed in damaging the rotors.

Dealer replaced my front rotors and all brake pads, no more vibrations

there are definite issues with the rotors warping, if you do a high speed stop at 120mph or so, or use that laser cruise, they warp.

yah could be, but theres a good chance that pad deposits on rotors are causing the vibration. i had vibrations while braking as well and bedding in the brakes again reduced these vibrations. certainly more probable than warping due to using laser cruise if thats even possible...
