why cant you get some coilovers and set the rears high and the fronts low. At least you'll have the same dampening. This is assming the range of the height adjustment is within the range of the coils.

More camber may tuck your wheels, but at the cost of more rapid tire wear. If you have the money to spend on 20"ers that wide then more power to ya!!

Guys im going to bump this thread back up..

Eibachs front drop is 1.2-1.3 front rear is 0.8
Tanabe is 1.0-.9- rear is a bit steeper then eibach.

So im assuming there would be no access lean foward, only due to the fact 1.2/3 is .4/5 lower then rear, while 1.0-.9 would one be how much lower then stock S suspension in the rear?

If anyone can answer that question that would be greatly appreciated, and most likely ill just roll with front tanabes.

I wouldnt lower just the front because then you'll have significantly stiffer springs up front than in back. That could create some wonky handling....

 

You can safely and easily lower only the front. It won't harm a thing and won't look funny. Every Nissan/Infiniti ever produced (except maybe the GT-R) has obnoxious front fender gap and a more normal rear. Dropping front only might give it a very slight rake but a 1" drop in front only won't be noticeable. Tanabe springs are only 5% stiffer than stock so it's not going to create handling problems. Stiffer front suspension is a plus not a negative, it's why I bought a stiffer front sway bar.

Do it. Nam is going to whenever I get my Tanabe fronts off to sell him.

 

Thanks Betty, it just seems like droping the rear, at all even with eibachs you can run into toe-camber problems so im thinking of just buying Tanabe Fronts. If i was to drop the eibach on the rear it would make no sense not buying a complete kit, bc i obvisiouly I like the front eibach drop better then tanabe.

I would think that it migt throw off the handling a bit. But if you guys have good experience with that I mihg teven try that. I have always thought that the back was great but the front needed to be lowered some.

 

As stated, Tanabe springs are only 5% stiffer than stock. Not much of a difference. It lowers less than an inch, which isn't going to throw the suspension geometry of the car off. I'll get off my azz this week and get the spring of to Nam and he can post his experience when he drops it.

It will definitely affect the balancing and handling of the car and I doubt in a good way but hey its your dime.

 

Has anyone done this? Dropped the front only? Pics?

 

You shouldn't have any handling or ride problems, by doing a minimum drop in the front.
The plus side would be better MPG, because the car will always be going down hill. jk
