That's my question too... how do you lower the engine cover? The link does have pics and references the lowering... but does not say or show how how.

^ he shaved the rubber bushings that are in the mount holes on the engine cover.

I just installed mine without any modifications. Did the 2 credit card spacing and no problems so far.

Thanks... I see that now, I just did not read far enough. I will try the 22 credit card spacing first before going to extra work.

Mount the brace loosely, Slip a pair of credit cards underneath the brace in the center of the cover, Tighten down the brace and slip them out.You're good to go!

Other options?

Hello,
I'm just wondering if anyone has heard about other manufacturers developing a STB..?

The GTSpec & Circuit Sports are all I've seen here.
The GTSpec is the much more popular one, even with it's required modification to fit properly..
The Circuit Sports looks solid.

Let me know if you know of any others coming up.
