Not sure of any test results, but I know they are a helluva lot better than the brakes I had on my TL prior to owning the G... They hold up great for normal driving and are ok on Canyon runs... They do tend to fade a bit and overheat when driving in the canyons, but for the most part they're great IMO... Well worth the extra $$ to get the Sport package if that's what you're contemplating.

i will get the sport package for sure. I'm just curious about how well the brakes perform...
So the brakes should perform better with sport pads? did anyone track their cars?

are the brake lines stainless steel? (i'm not sure if they have to be stainless...)

People say the brakes fade when they get hot, but I have not had a problem. I downshift more often than brake, I have only mashed the brakes a few times in this car.

Yeah they should perform A LOT better with some Project Mu pads that are available. A few people have tracked their G's already, hopefully they can chime in and let you know their experiences.

The brake lines aren't stainless steel, but they are available.

I tracked mine at Road Atlanta. Had no issues with fade but the stock pads quickly overheat and cause a bad vibration in the steering wheel that feels just like warped rotors. Once cooled down they went back to normal though....

No probs at the track..upgrade your brake lines from Stillen for a little bit better pedal feel.

Braking Comments:
Very good, solid pedal feel and response. Still, the level of fade (the car stopped in 122 feet on the fifth run) is disturbing given the fact that these are the biggest rotors in the class, not to mention the bada$$ four-piston calipers in front

On the street, at least for my driving style, I only need 1 good stop and not 5 in a row. They work great for me.

^ I'm wondering the same thing also. Stainless steel brake lines? change rotors?
