Is there an advantage from sway bars w/o lowering or spring change?

I'm considering replacing the sway bars on my G37 with Stillen sway bars.

Will the sway bars stiffen the suspension if I keep the stock springs and shocks? It seems like they might.

The stiffer sway bars will reduce body roll without changing shocks and springs, Is this correct?

Reducing body roll is my primary objective for now.

Thanks for any feedback.

Yup... You'll see improvements with the sway bars even if on stock springs. Like you said, the stiffer sways will reduce body roll and help improve handling while cornering.

Take a look at on the forums. There should be some good info on the Stillen Sways.

A couple more questions

Thanks for the reply BlackJack.

Do the sway bars affect tire wear? If you factor out more agressive driving.

Do you need a re-alignment if you just change out the sway bars. Logic would say "NO" but I'm wondering if the stiffer bars affect how the car settles on the springs or if the difference is negligible.

Thanks again.

The sways will not affect tire wear and they do not settle like springs. They are just thicker and less flexible than your OEM. I have the Stillen sways and I am happy with the results.

+1... If you take out the more aggressive driving factor, then no... thread where not affected. Just makes the suspension tighter in cornering.
