well H&R from what i have seen on several of our members cars here sit realy dropped and flushed yet improve cornering and handling but your going to need a rear toe and camber kit+an alignment so you dont eat up your tires other then that the tanabe gives a light drop just to cover those wheel gaps and the ride stiffens up a bit

installations should only run you around 100 to 150 for springs!!
any thing more that is a rip off!
i suggest going with the tanabes or wait for a lil while for other springs to come
i personally think that the H-techs are not made for our car so i wouldnt suggest putting them on since the specs are not for us!

The H Techs will drop the car very low. It can cause ride quality, rubbing, and camber issues. The Tanabe will drop it only a little but will maintain correct camber and not cause alignment problems. It's up to you to decide which you want. Persoanlly I have the Tanabe because it's more my style than to have a car like this slammed really low and have to deal with the harsh ride and potential suspension issues. It all depends on what your own personal style is. Look at pictures posted of both drops and decide which you like better given all the factors.

A shop should charge no more than 2 hours of mechanical labor for the install. Probably in line with what gan78mao's estimate is cost wise.

Good luck with you choice and post photos and opinions when you get it done.

I would agree with Gan789Mao. I would go with the Tanabe springs they are simply awesome. I had H&R's and you can't get your car to align up without a front and rear camber kit. There way to low for driving...

Tanabe all the way. This kit will help you save up some $$$ for coil-overs since there's no need for a camber kit and there's no issues what so ever when going with bigger wheels.

I personally liked Tanabe because I dont want to mess with camber and alignments....... One more thing I am concern with is the warranty with the car... If anyone knows anything about this can you comment please... it will help a lot.

any problem thats caused by the aftermarket springs will not be warrantied!
so most likely they will not look at your suspension!
everything else should still be under warranty!

Is there any chance that they might void other warranty because of aftermarket suspension?? Saying that the suspension caused the damage?? It has to be realistic damaged caused by suspension right?? They just cant say its the suspension fault... Sorry I really dont want to ruin the warranty cause of my action.

that i wouldnt know
sometimes it really depends on the dealership that you go to
i had a dealership told me, "only this time, we are not going to check any suspension related or little noises in the car because of your aftermarket suspension unless you change it back to the stock one."
