Anyone powdercoated their calipers yet?

Or planning to? Please post pics and info if you have. I'm thinking red with the Infiniti lettering in black.

Hell no! It will be a 6MT Sport (deliver on the 16th!); no way I'd buy a car like this and get an automatic or skip on the Sport Package, that defeats the whole purpose for me. Does that make a difference in powdercoating the calipers?

yes the oem calipers have a rubber coating around them so you will need to have them stripped down in order to have them powdercoated.

Thanks, didn't know that. I'll probably just stick with the stock color then.

just get some darker wheels which will make the bright silver calipers stick out more...

Stick with stock color then just go aftermarket brakes. Their are many companies now out there but you will get the most bang for your buck with Rotora.

The stock brakes are more than fine as far as braking performance for me. Powder coating them red is nothing more than a *gasp*, dare I even say it here, cosmetic mod only. Strictly because I like the way the calipers would look in red and no other reason.

Please do. I'd love to see how it turns out. Black with red "INFINITI" lettering would be my second choice.
