Evening, I'm new to the forum & also the proud owner of a new to me 2011 G37S, 82k on odo. While doing some cleaning last night, I discovered that the rear driver side, passenger, & rear passenger doors do not lock when using both the fob & interior lock buttons. After researching, this has to be the result of faulty lock actuators as one of the locks (Driver rear) makes a faint whining sound/barely moves when trying to engage, & the others make no sound/do not move at all. I found OEM actuators for aforementioned doors on eBay from a seller who rebuilds them with higher quality parts & has an excellent reputation, so I bought all 3 ($250). My question is, can anyone give me a ballpark estimate of what it would cost to give said actuators to a shop & have them replace them? Would it be more financially prudent to do them myself? I am fairly mechanically inclined, but am also concerned about damaging the window motors or wiring which could lead to a slew of other issues. Thanks in advance.
