Anybody try to chrome the Ryou grill?
So I see you have two posts in quick succession involving the same topic. I'm not going to be the one to chew you out over it but just be aware that the verbal lashing is coming lol.
To answer your first question, I haven't purchased either but I've seen both in person. If you're worried about perfect fit and finish, neither. I'd go with the real deal which is ZELE which is what both of those are replicating. Otherwise, go Stillen or OEM.
To answer your second question, I have not seen anyone on here do this. It is probably easily accomplished with cleaning, self-etching primer, and a decent chrome spray kit. If you're dead set on this route then yes go with the replica grills in the event that you botch it. Not saying that you will but it would hurt my heart if you screwed up a $500 ZELE grill. If I had to pick between the two then I would just flip a coin because I can almost guarantee they are both being purchased from the same factory on Alibaba.
