Partial debadge

I have a 2010 in blue slate. I was thinking of removing the infiniti lettering and keeping everything else. This has been a garaged car its entire life, so I would think that might help. If I debadge, would there be markings/shadowing? Yes this has been asked before, but everyone's scenario is different.

There will be marking of course but you can try goo gone to rub it clean - Wash the car and then wax and polish.

Assume that there will be ghosting. Watch junkman’s youtube video on debadging. Goo gone will likely work to get the adhesive off, but while rubbing (gently) off the adhesive, you still might make minor scratches. Be prepared to polish or even you compound. I had to take it a step further and wet sand to completely remove the ghosting.
