Hey G brethren,

Im repainting my bumper (someone drove into it) and im trying to identify a piece that looks broken/snapped. The piece im referring to is located between where the bumper meets the fender at the top.

here’s a pic for reference ( black piece that looks like it’s secured to the frame or the maybe the headlight:

I have, already, the bumper bracket and the stiffener (pictures below)



I was wondering if that piece that appears broken was useful at all in keeping the bumper and fender flush and secured as I have always had issues with fitment by not always being able to keep the top of the bumper al the way down.
