I couldn't find any good pictures of somebody with the DEPO black housing tail lights installed, so here it is for anyone else that couldn't find it. When I bought them off eBay, the manufacturer was listed as StyleLine. When they arrived, the box said DEPO. Not sure what that is all about, but whatever.
I definitely love them. I always hated that big bright red blob hanging out on the back of my black car. 100% I would recommend for KH3 black coupe owners.
A few points:
They come with bulbs, no need to transfer from your old to your new.
They do not come with a trunk release button, so you DO have to move that from your old to your new.
Fitment was great, no issues with unsightly gaps or not going in properly.
BEFORE:
HALFWAY DONE (it got dark out, so couldn't finish doing both):
I was just looking at tail lights for my 08 G37s and I came across a pair of these (Styline, clear over black). I came here to see what anyone might think about them. Low and behold, pictures! They look good. My car had tinted tail lights when I bought it and they have started to peel. It looks trashy, not to mention dimming the light output. I was thinking that oem reds would do just fine and would look sharp enough. I still think they look good but thanks to your shots I can make a more informed decision. I like the Stylines better. The only thing that worries me is the clear cover. Will it cloud like the headlamps?
Here ya go, bud. Glad my post helped you! Added a few more pictures with different angles in different levels of daylight. I will say, parking at night and walking away from my car, I can't help but turn around and stare at how good these tail lights look when there isn't enough light to give that glare on the clear lens.
As for the lens yellowing with time, they probably do. I haven't had them long enough to know, but you can clean that yellowing up with a little elbow grease.
