Smile what's your opinion on upgrading HID to LED?

Recently, I bought a used g37, but want something new in headlight, after researching days on forum, i am so confused.
since some one claimed that HID is good enough. they are bright to use. some one think led is better with a instant-on start and a cool white color.

For me, i just like the light more white since the new Luxury car are come with the led bulbs, will make my car looks better.

What's your idea? HID or LED?

LEDs will be a downgrade.
If you want a different color get a different temperature HID bulb.
I use Osram CBB - great bulb.

Yup either those or CBI's. Both great bulbs.

Our projectors are designed for HIDs.
Putting LEDs in them may seem bright at first but the light output at distance will be very reduced.

I see... I thought you meant in general. Sure, the light system should be matched, reflector + light source. Otherwise you end with what the kids around here are running (and blinding others).

I can vouch for this:

PHILIPS Xenon X-TremeVision Gen2 +150% D2S HID Xenon Bulb 85122XV2S1

Slightly more blue color than stock, very bright.
