Help with snow mode button

I was taking out the heated seat / snow button panel, and I accidentally unclipped the wrong clip and the snow mode button came apart and the guts of it came out. Does anyone know how it's supposed to fit? I can get one on Ebay for $13 as a last resort but figured I would try and reassemble it. Thanks

I had to modify a VDC switch one time. The SNOW switch should be similar. It will be difficult to explain.

1) The white "slider" fits to the side of the blue switch "body" with the two (2) copper "fingers" faced inward and toward the contacts under the white LED.

2) The backside of the white "slider" has a "V" shape in the middle. This will line up with the black tab on the back of the rocker switch (the part you press down).

When you press the switch, the tab moves the slider, which causes the fingers to make contact, which closes the circuit, etc., etc.

Not 100% sure but I believe there is a small pin that mounts to the spring which returns the switch to it's normal position as it is only a momentary switch.

Hope some of this helps...

They are momentary switches. You can buy one for 5 bucks. I used generic ones when I relocated vdc button to center consolen
