Duckbill Spoiler on G37 Coupe
Ducktail Spoiler on G37 Coupe
I've got a carbon fiber duckbill spoiler on my Obsidian Black Coupe. I'm trying to decide whether to paint it Obsidian Black to match the rest of car or leave it like it is. To my eyes the grayish color of the carbon fiber just kinda clashes with the black finish on the car and bugs me a bit. There's no other carbon fiber accents on the rest of the car to blend with it. I've got to take the spoiler off soon and retape it so I'm trying to decide what to do while I've got it off the car. Opinions would be appreciated.
Thanks, Sam

Seems like it would be a shame to cover up a nice carbon fiber piece like that but I'd probably do the same if it was the only pice...maybe get some other pieces to match instead of spending money on painting it?
I have to agree with OP on how i find that it would clash with the rest of the black, even though the other posters are correct that it can blend well with black. Personally, id probably paint or wrap it. It’s a matter of personal taste. Why dont you wrap it ( gloss black) see how you feel, and if you dont like it, just peel it off.
It's very glossy, it's just not dark enough. It's a silvery gray instead of a blackish silver if that makes any sense. I've thought about spraying a few coats of candy black on it to darken it up and still be able to see the weave.
