Lightbulb Front Driver Seat Belt Base

Gents/Ladies,

I need to replace my drivers left seat belt base. I have a replacement base, but it is very hard to reach the screw as it is attached to the seat. So when one moves the seat forward/back it just has like a 1/4 or 1/2 inch gap to the center transmission hub. Any assistance would be appreciated.

i dont have any advice on that , yet, sorry for that but i do have a question or two. Why are you replacing the seat belt receptacle and what symptoms did you get if you had errors etc? i traced a problem with my car to the seat belt. All of a sudden if the car is on, and i am in the drivers seat with the seat belt off, the interior lights start flickering and door open flashes. when the car was off and i take my seat belt off the interior lights come on and stay on as well as the headlights when in the auto setting, the door will not lock by the door button. started driving without the seat belt on and the interior lights started flashing, door locks were going up and down, and the alarm for the key being locked in the car was going off! I will test tomorrow to confirm its not the door switch and that it is the seat belt. if it is i will try cleaning it 1st, and if necessary start looking at replacing it.
