Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has installed the following foglights, it looks like the stock bulbs are H8 35W.

Thoughts or comments on using a lower 30W bulb?

I wouldn't even bother with those. Yeah they are cheap but who knows what the quality and longevity will be like.

Use Diode Dynamics (might be a vendor here). They make quality products, good support, and are backed by a 3 year warranty.

I believe you need to be looking at a H11 bulb though.

I did the H11 3000k HID kit on my '08 but I have the IPL front bumper with IPL fog lights. They are bright. great yellow color, I have had them installed for over 4 years with no issues.

 

I wonder how the glare is with a 35w 3000k HID kit versus the diode dynamics 3000k LED bulb

 

I'll post some pictures tonight of my 3000k HID kit from DD.

I would imagine that the fog light housing being used would have more of an effect on glare. Not sure though.
