aftermarket oem style headlights

I've seen a set of depot headlights that are like OEM but a total of $1000 brand new for the pair. Yes I know I can get OEM's for less than that, but used. I want to be sure I get a set of hl's that are near perfect.

My question is: How is the quality on these? I have a set of the depot tails and they have been great so far. Can you still take them apart and mod them like OEM's, or would that run into issues due to poorer quality?

I ordered a set of those headlights for my car while 180 did my headlights. I noticed the gaps between the headlights and the body was a pretty big gap. If that doesn't bug you then I guess order them.

They look great but have subpar projectors from what I've seen/read on here.

I had a similar experience with an aftermarket set on my old G35. They looked awesome but light output was crap.

OEM or bust. Then get them custom modified by ONEighty NYC. I have their GTR style tailights and love them.
