Many moons ago I did a similar thing to my 300ZX. I think you must be a young person?

The painted interior parts you will sorely regret! It doesn't last, and you've basically written a death sentence to what appears to be perfectly good leather interior.

 

thought about doing that but but didn't want to get to complacted and mine is a sedan would be hard to cut in on the middle as it is all 1 seat
