Hey everyone,

so I am interested in opening up my headlights and painting the chrome inserts black for a nicer look, however my car has the tech package (with the turning lenses) amd I'm curious, is there anything additional I need to remove or am I able to still do this without damaging that function? Thanks

 

the chrome part is just a cover. you remove it and paint it. u dont disassemble the internals. thats what i recall

 

ik, but is it safe to put the Headlight on the oven with AFS? Like will the module break or anything?

 

should be fine. some people bake it with the ballast still attached to the head light. i have

 

I don't have the AFS, but I baked my headlights over 2 years ago. Still perfectly fine.
