I was wondering if I were to put a projector fog light into my bumper, would HID bulbs melt the bumper around the projector?
I have a convertible without fog lights, so I would be cutting a hole and finding a way to mount fog lights.

halogens get way hotter than hid and that is what most stock fog lights are

Just get the Morimoto LED projector fogs, they'll be way better.
