Does anyone know where I might be able to get a hood deflector? I haven't been able to find one or a shop that makes one.

My black g is getting white spots from all the rock chips from driving on crappy DC roads ;(

The best you'll be able to do is a clear plastic 'bra'. Think wrap but clear and it only goes on the front of the hood. Not sure where to get them though. I have heard others talk about them.

 

I've had a clear bra on since my car was new and it's done a really good job preventing chips. The dealer put it on, but I think any place that does tint or vinyl wraps could do it. I believe they are pre-cut to fit.

 

Theres a leather hood bra by a brand named Cobra. I got that to help protect mine from getting more paint damage and hopefully to help my windshield. I got it on eBay for $60. Its not bad, but theres 2 things about it I dont like. One is that due to the design of our hoods, this leaves for 2 big pockets on each side of the hood. and 2 it has a fabric trim section that I dont really care for the looks of. The picture of the car with it on ebay doesnt zoom in enough to show these things. Let me know if you want I can upload a picture so you can see what I mean. Other than that I think it should help protect something anyhow.
